Here are some of the things you must do while in town:

Visit The Bryant Park Winter Village

Creperies, a Max Brenner pop up chocolate bar, christmas music, holiday shopping, and iceskating all in one magical area. The Bryant Park Winter Village will have their shops open through January 2 and their Rink and the rinkside restaurant will be open until March 5 of 2017. While there is still much time, make sure to take a trip down and experience all the magical early Christmas beauty the winter village has to offer. See more here.

Fall Forest Weekends

If you are a lover of natural beauty or want time away from the city hustle,  this is the place for you. Open all month long, the New York Botanical Garden’s Family Forest will be open for tours and canoe rides.  You can also sign up in advance for a Recreational Tree Climbing class. Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Window Unveiling 

The “Land of 1000 Delights” will be unveiled Monday November 21st at the Falgship Saks Fifth Avenue in New York at 7pm. For those also not in in newyork, it can be steamed live on the saks website.

Thanksgiving Day Parade

Macy’s will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Day Parade this year, November 24th. But the fun doesn’t just end there, besides the parade, there will be other festivities happening that day, including some of the best parties and holiday markets in New York. Why sit at home and watch the parade when you can be there. See more here.

The Nutcracker

Shown at the Lincoln center, Opening night is 25 November 2016 through until: 31 December 2016. It is perfect for the whole family and a wonderful introduction to ballet for younger audience members. Get tickets here.

Oyster Festival Fall 2016

Only around once more than Santa, the Oyster Festival is back! The festival will be open to the public Saturday, November 19 from 12:30 – 3:30 pm. It’s an event all the oyster fans say not to miss. The festival will be held and hosted at Docks Oyster Bar. Just think, all you can eat Oysters. What else would you rather do on a Saturday? See more here.

Nederlands Dans Theater Master Class at City Center

If you have ever wanted to take a class with the best choreographer dance has to offer, now is your chance. Join Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) dancers, Myrthe van Opstal and Chuck Jones, for a two-hour masterclass at New York City Center. Where you will learn the dance language of NDT’s choreographers and develop your moves. See more here.

Grand Central’s Thanksgiving Market

Just in time for the holiday, Wednesday, November 23 (10 AM – 7 PM) you can visit the Thanksgiving Market popping up on the Taxi Stand (at Vanderbilt Ave. and E. 43rd St.) for one day only. Six Grand Central dessert shops and bakeries will be selling their delicious desserts.*Customers can contact shops in advance to pre-order and pick up at the Taxi Stand during the event. See more here. Like we said, it’s the city that never sleeps. We are sure there is always something to do that is up your alley in New York, you just got to look for it!
