I do not agree that you need 10s of thousands of dollars to make a good impression.. im sorry but i dont agree at all.
I don’t go out of my way much for guests, usually it’s just family that comes in town. But even when we go visit, it is nice that my parents keep two empty drawers in the guest room dresser for our stuff and a few in the guest bathroom as well. Besides that, I don’t expect much out of people when I visit. After all, I am there for the people, not the stuff!
