The ItalianCarFest 2019 is arguably one of the best annual automotive events in the southwestern United States. It is presented by the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau in partnership with the Italian Car Club of North Texas.

The show will play host to over 90 automobiles, all of which are true to the festival’s name in the fact that they are Italian produced. You’ll see some of the finest and most exotic examples of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Fiats, and Alfa Romeos. What most visitors to the festival might find shocking is that admission to the car show is completely free of charge. Guests of all ages are welcome to enter the show.

If you are not familiar with the city where the ItalianCarFest 2019 is hosted, it is called Grapevine, Texas. The city can be found to the northwest of Dallas and to the northeast of Fort Worth. It is a medium-size Texas city, playing home to nearly 50,000 full-time residents.

More Than Just the Car Show

In addition to hosting the annual ItalianCarFest, the city also hosts the GrapeFest which is the largest wine festival in all of the southwestern United States. Both of these events kick off in mid-September and are experienced by thousands of guests and visitors from in and outside of Texas. In fact, a sizable and growing percentage of visitors to the festivals come from international destinations such as Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, India, and China.

Find a Great Place to Stay

If you are coming from outside of the Grapevine, Texas area you will have plenty of great options for accommodations. The Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine is one of the most popular, and it’s close to ItalianCarFest 2019. The hotel features amenities such as a shuttle service, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 dining options, and membership discounts.

If you’re looking for a resort experience, check out the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. This resort-style hotel sits on Lake Grapevine. Its 4.5 acres is bursting with an indoor garden, 10 restaurants, waterpark, and multiple pools.

Check Out the Town

The moment you step foot in Grapevine, Texas you will notice that the city is extremely easy to navigate around. The city itself is divided into four separate sections, all of which are firmly anchored by the city’s historic downtown area.

Within the city itself, you can travel around by car, bicycle, or on foot. The city even offers a convenient Grapevine shuttle service that takes guests to and from the festivals and to other key lodging areas within the city. Even better, the city of Grapevine is only a 10-mile drive from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, one of the largest airports in the entire world.
