There are many iconic luxury hotels in Paris but since last December there is one more: the Bvlgari Hotel Paris. Nested on the Avenue George V in the 8th arrondissement, Bvlgari opened its seventh luxury hotel worldwide. There are five more currently planned. Of course, the hotel offers everything we are accustomed to from its sister locations in Dubai, Shanghai or London. The highlight, however, is a €35,000-per-night penthouse suite. Spanning across two floors with floor-to-ceiling windows, the suite has a size of 1,000 sqm with a 600 sqm terrace that wraps around the suite and offers 360° views of Paris.
The dining room is covered in exquisite antique Altai rugs while golden chandeliers illuminate the room. The bathroom is entirely made of Arabescato marble – even the bathtub and the sink. Gio Ponti vases provide the suite with a special touch. One of the highlights of the Bvlgari penthouse suite is the private fitness studio – fully equipped with the latest and best equipment money can buy – with a view of the world-famous Sacre Coeur. While normal tourists have to walk and queue to get to see the Eiffel tower, you don’t have to leave the suite. The bedroom offers magnificent views of it. Stepping out on the terrace makes you think you are in the heart of the Provence rather than Paris. Oak trees, magnolias, apple- and pear trees all make you forget the Paris city life for a moment.
While the suite comes with two kitchens, you probably want to check out Bvlgari’s Il Ristorante where 3-Michelin-Star chef Niko Romito offers contemporary Italian cuisine. Definitely try the Veal Milanese and the homemade panzanella tortelli with burrata. Of course, Bvlgari Hotel Paris also features its own boutique where you can find the latest luxury watches and jewelry collections. As Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said: “We are particularly proud to add a new gem to the crown of the Bvlgari Hotels & Resort collection with the opening the Bvlgari Hotel Pari.” This hotel – and suite – definitely deserves the title “crown”.
