After all the controversy in 2022, the Golden Globes are back and people did actually show up! And there was much to talk about. For example, Tom Cruise didn’t win a prize. Best Picture didn’t go to Top Gun: Maverick and neither did Elvis or Avatar win. Instead the Golden Globe was awarded to The Fabelmans. Steven Spielberg also won the award for directing the movie. However, as much talk as the movies generated, there was an equal amount of talk about the outfits on the red carpet. Here are our highlights:
Anya Taylor Joy – Dior
Anya Taylor Joy showed up in a two piece, bright yellow Dior outfit, made up of a strapless bralette and a long, column skirt. The subtle, yet richly looking Tiffany necklace finished a well-rounded and classy outfit.
Margot Robbie – Chanel
Margot Robbie was once again stood out from the rest of the crowd on the red carpet. The Australian actress went for a pale pink Chanel dress. The fishtail gown with a bit of frothy tulle, really made Robbie shine!
Jenna Ortega – Gucci
Another classy and beautiful look. Jenna Ortega pulled up in this nude-colored cut-out Gucci dress that featured a big, long train. Combine this with her Tiffany necklace and it shouldn’t be a surprise why Ortega made our list.
Monica Barbaro – Dolce & Gabbana
Back to colors. Monica Barbaro wore this stunning red, strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown. It is just such a classic and elegant piece – almost takes you back to the old Hollywood times…
Michelle Yeoh – Armani Privé
Save the most sparkling outfit for last. Michelle Yeoh showed that sequins can work on a red carpet. Glittering Moussaieff jewelry created the “extra” factor of her outfit.
