With a captivating marriage of organic and geometric shapes, Pucci’s celebrated energy flows eternal in the iconic Vivara print. Created in 1965, the Vivara print has always symbolized Emilio Pucci’s deep connection to the Mediterranean Sea and a remote crescent-shaped island near Capri.
For her second runway show for Pucci, Artistic Director Camille Miceli infuses Vivara with fresh movement and a new allure during an escapade to Rome and the historic Palazzo Altemps. Vivara springs to life against this backdrop in a bold, modern and sensual collection.
Classic Pucci codes are remixed and three new prints make a debut this season – Cigni, Bersaglio and Chiave. In addition to Vivara’s emblematic blue, green and purple palette, the motifs are explored in tonal variations: neutral notes of beige, khaki and black; a vivid spectrum of red, purple, pink and blue; poetic pastels; and luscious floral hues. Silhouettes are dotted with hippie touches, tattoo and drop-hole tops join oversized blazers, creating looks that are both playful and sophisticated. Menswear echoes the vibes of the women’s looks, leading into a dramatic finale with a series of hooded dresses and caftans in a sponge material, a shout-out to the Pucci archives.
