DOHA, Qatar – World-renowned Qatari composer Dana Al Fardan is set to make history this week as she becomes the first Qatari artist to appear at the prestigious 77th Cannes Film Festival, with a ground-breaking performance of her latest musical masterpiece ‘Indigo’.
The acclaimed Doha-born musician will perform her music for guests at the official dinner of the star-studded festival in France – the distinguished Trophée Chopard, on Friday 17 May 2024.
As one of the most pioneering creative talents of both her generation and the Arab world, Dana’s historic appearance is a perfect complement to the celebrated Trophée Chopard, which recognizes the international film industry’s foremost emerging stars.
