Queen Letizia of Spain
Prior to marrying Prince Felipe, now King of Asturia, Letizia was a journalist and news anchor for Teledirio, a nightly news program in Spain and she covered the 2000 U.S election. In addition to being featured in The Time’s for 100 Most Influential Women she is an avid contributor to non-profit organizations. In April 2016 Letizia held a charity audience for the Spanish Association against Leukodystrophy. It is a disorder that affects the central nervous system and is progressive, meaning it worsens with age. In June 2016 the Princess attended a drug addiction charity and in March 2017 attended the 7th conference on tobacco and health. In addition to contributing to many charities and foundations, Princess Letizia, now Queen, never fails to arrive fashionable dressed in tailored teal suits by Felipe Varela. She is a Hugo Boss fan when her apparel consists of elegant and simple dresses, but for trendier pieces she turns to brands like Zara and Mango.
