In the past few years or so, men’s fashion and beauty around the world has been seeing quite a few major changes; including man buns, brightly colored suits, in this case specifically, make-up and skin care. A large percentage of younger men in Asian countries, such as China and Korea, have taken to wearing light to moderate make-up products (like concealer and foundation) on a daily basis, and Western countries like America have been slowly but surely picking up on this trend as well.

While there is an increasing number of men who are experimenting with more “fun” make-up products like eyeliner or lip-gloss, in this case, I’m referring to day-to-day make-up and beauty products like moisturizer, toner, under-eye concealer, and other appearance-enhancing products.
Here are a few beauty hacks for men:
Beards
For men who are looking for a fuller-looking beard, there are a few tricks you can resort to, outside of a hair transplant or beard-weave, to achieve that effect. For instance you can use eyeliner-like products, such as KenMen Brow & Beard-Corrector, to fill in missing patches in your facial hair or to make your facial hair appear thicker and fuller. Another make-up trick to make your beard appear fuller is to find eye shadow that is the same shade as your facial hair, and blend it in to the facial hair you already have.
Skin-Care Products
Women have been well aware for a long time now of how important facial products like moisturizers and cleansers are for maintaining healthy skin. In the past few years, men in the U.S. have also been paying more attention to their skin, and the beauty industry has taken notice. Aside from stealing your girlfriend or your sister’s skin-care products, there are several companies in the U.S. that are marketing skin-care products directly for men, such as by placing the products in more masculine packing (i.e. FORMEN’s black and white colored packages) or by marketing men tailored products like a six-in-one brightening CC cream, because what man out there doesn’t want efficiency in their routine.
Hiding Flaws
Just as women have been using foundation and concealer to hide facial blemishes like redness, acne, or under-eye bags, men have been using similar products to the same use, as a way of appearing more professional or simply as a means to boost up their self-esteem going out into the day.
As there’s a decreasing social stigma around a man putting on makeup or placing more time into his appearance, for men matters like putting on under-eye concealer before a job interview or using facial cleanser in your morning routine will seem less odd and will become more part of the norm.
