Bentley Motors announced a new partnership with The Little Car Company, the world leader in hand-built junior cars, to create an 85% scaled reimagination of the original Bentley Blower. The Bentley Blower Jnr features carefully sourced materials, meticulous detail and all the expertise of the Bentley design team. In other words, it is a car created with the quality and luxury you would expect of the full-size equivalent. As a tribute to the 1929 racer that made history at Le Mans, it’s a link to the past that’s full of futuristic touches – the highlight being a fully electric 48-volt powertrain with several drive modes and a range of around 100 km.
One of the most surprising advantages of this Bentley Blower Jnr is its sheer everyday usability. While smaller than the full-size equivalent, it has room for two adults inside. With road legal options available in the UK, EU and US, it proves to be a surprisingly practical choice for everyday driving – whether you are taking a trip to the shops or a weekend drive in the country. Thanks to the Bentley design team’s close collaboration with The Little Car Company, they’ve built a car that truly reflects the spirit of Bentley that has endured for over a century. Now, this historic vehicle from the brand’s past is ready for the next generation to drive.
The first 99 examples of Bentley Blower Jnr will be First Edition Models. These will feature First Edition badging on the hood, door sill plate, the dash, as well as an engraved and numbered ‘1 of 99’ plaque. All First Edition models will be finished in Blower Green, with matching painted chassis and wheels, and a Union flag hand-painted on both sides of the body as per the original, while the seats and interior are upholstered in the Dark Green Lustrana Hide used by Mulliner for the Blower Continuation Series. The side panel and radiator carry the period-correct racing number, while the steering wheel is rope-bound. Performance and safety take precedence with meticulously designed features, including zero emissions, agile handling, and essential safety hardware.
