Dolce & Gabbana Opens Casa Boutiques

We all know Dolce & Gabbana for some of the most luxurious and prettiest dresses, pants, shoes and handbags money can buy. For some time, the Italian brand has also manufactured some select home products such as fridges and toasters. Last September, at the Alta Moda event in Venice, D&G announced that it will be fully entering the home product segment: expect furniture, carpets, kitchenware, candles and many other items. So far, it has been a soft launch and D&G fans were primarily reliant on online shopping to get their hands on some of these items.

However, D&G has just opened its first two boutiques dedicated to the D&G Casa line. Both will be in Milan. The first is located on Corso Venezia 7 and was previously selling D&G clothing lines. The other store will be at Via Durini 23 inside the store operated by Luxury Living. It is very likely that these stores will be the first of many others to either open or be converted around the world.

D&G’s Casa line is inspired and dominated by Mediterranean patterns and colors. Expect to see a lot of red, blue, yellow and white. The furniture seems to be perfectly suited for a finca-style villa in Italy, Spain, Southern France or Greece. However, some of the table items, cushions and throws as well as accessories can easily be used as highlights in any house or apartment around the world. If you cannot make it to Milan to see the collection live, you can browse and buy their items here. We are sure that we are going to hear more from D&G about their Casa expansion plans in the near future.
