Whether you’re working from home or headed to the office, it can be difficult to maintain the perfect eating and fitness habits while constantly in business-mode. It’s important not to let our career take over our well-being. Health should be the number one priority, and it’s easy to replace that level of priority with business. Health plays a crucial role in concentration, focus, drive, and energy, and this will benefit your labor.

YOU NEED TO HYDRATE YOURSELF
Water can be boring, but spruce it up with fruit-infusion. Staying hydrated will not only sustain hunger while working, but it will also provide that much-needed energy that your body craves. Also, if coffee is your source of energy, it is recommended that with every one cup of coffee, two cups of water should be consumed.
GET DELIVERY ― NOT THAT DELIVERY
Whether it’s during your Sunday off or during some free time within the week, spend a few hours prepping your lunches. Still don’t have the time to prep, companies such as Real Eats, Blue Apron, and Clean Eats provide all-natural, balanced unch boxes at your doorstep.
GO AHEAD AND STASH DARK CHOCOLATE, CASHEWS, AND SPA APRICOT
Along with your meal prep, be sure those meals leave room for two or three snacks. It will keep you energized, less distracted by hunger, and more focused on your work. Keep fresh fruit, dried fruit, unsalted-nuts, greek yogurt, protein bar, nut butter, veggies, string cheese, or dark chocolate, and steer clear from the sugar and sodium filled vending machine munchies.
SKIP THE SECOND ESPRESSO
This can be a difficult adjustment, especially if you’re an avid espresso drinker. Coffee is a great way to stay energized, but there can be too much of a good thing. Limit your intake to one cup per morning to avoid that awful 3AM crash. Also, avoid adding sugar and creamers by drinking it black or replacing creamers with almond milk. Herbal green, black, and white teas can also be a healthy alternative.
AMP UP THE VITAMIN D
Rather than hiding away in your stuffy office or staying lounging on your living room coach, enjoy the fresh air and and take a stroll during your lunch or afternoon break. That dose of Vitamin D will have you feeling recharged and energized for even your heaviest load of assignments.
