Ahead of the renovation of the Louis Vuitton 5th Avenue flagship in New York City, the Maison is opening an ambitious temporary space at 6 East 57th Street.
The new store – the largest Louis Vuitton space in the United States – promises an immersive experience where luxury, culture and gastronomy converge.
Located just a few steps from the Maison’s 57th Street store, the space celebrates the longstanding connection between Louis Vuitton and New York. The landmark Art Deco building stands out with a vast window plan and striking architecture, while the interior floorplan plays with contrasts. A monumental installation of Courrier Lozine 90 trunks ascends to the ceiling in tribute to the House’s trunk-making heritage, and a vertical wall of Keepall and Speedy bags affirms a vibrant modernity.
On the fourth floor, Le Café Louis Vuitton proposes a truly unique experience. Conceived as a café cum library space, it features over 600 titles curated by editor Ian Luna, privileging New York artists. The culinary journey is an alliance of refinement and creativity, orchestrated by chefs Christophe Bellanca and Marie George under French chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric for a distinctive “luxury snacking” concept.
Also featured is Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric, who delights lovers of sweet treats with his handcrafted specialties, as well as an exclusive collectible capsule collection.
Much more than a pop-up space, Louis Vuitton 57th Street NYC is an invitation to discover the Louis Vuitton universe from an engaging new perspective, an immersive experience where art, culture and gastronomy come together to leave a lasting impression.
