Resting on the southeast edge of France is a seldom-known village where time seems to slow down. Small, intimate shops and restaurants line the cobbled streets of Antibes where few tourists venture. Those seeking to experience the real feel of France away from the hustle and bustle of big city life will find this coastal location their perfect oasis.

There’s an abundance of apartments available in the old, 19th century part of the town for the perfect access into what life was really like in that period. Early in the morning, wake up to the smell of fresh baguettes wafting through the open window and the sunlight peaking over the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea. Steps away from your apartment are two beaches that are accessible by a pristine cliff walkway on either side of the bay.
For a day of grandeur take a short train ride to nearby Monaco and have dinner at a premium restaurant and view the palatial yachts that line the harbor. In that same day, you’ll still have time to ride the train to nearby Italian towns and view the markets and shop-filled streets. The picturesque views from the train along the coast are worth the journey alone.
This hidden gem off the tourist trail allows for a simple vacation filled with access to nearby cities and countries, exquisite food, and white sandy beaches. The old charm feel of Antibes makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a simpler time with nothing to worry about apart from which bottle of wine to have with dinner.

Love that it’s an intimate part of France that’s very laid back. This is inspiring some serious wanderlust!
ugh goals!
Not only is it intimate, but it’s also magical. Like something from a fairy tale.
This looks so beautiful! Looks like the perfect mixture of old and new.
As if I needed another reason to add France to my travel bucket list! So beautiful!
