Off-White Enters Beauty Market

Off-White has debuted its first ever beauty collection. It is called Paperwork and is supposed to be a toolkit for self-expression. Essentially, it follows the vision of Virgil Abloh to be a blank canvas and inspire endless creativity. The genderless fragrance collection contains four different perfumes:

Solution No. 1: This perfume revolves around the theme “sand”. Quite a fitting theme for the concept of self-expression – sand when mixed with water can be almost shaped into any form and size. The fragrance contains Ho Wood and Bergamots top notes that provides the sand with a woody signature of vetiver and patchouli.

Solution No. 2: Freshness and woodiness are usually in opposition of each other but Solution No. 2 aims to bring them together to highlight their contrasts. Freshness is represented by citrus and the zest of fresh ginger. The woody base creates a unique duality that sets the perfume apart from others that just focus on freshness.

Solution No. 3: Roses – the most luxurious and classiest of all flowers – is the theme of the third fragrance in the collection. These roses are then combined with musk and ambrette to create a more unisex fragrance.

Solution No. 4: The last perfume in the collection is supposed to represent an urban aroma, meaning comfort and freshness. No. 4 is a mix of eucalyptus, lavender and woods – certainly a very unique combination.

All the perfumes sell for ~$175 in Off-White’s online store. We are sure we will be hearing more about other beauty products form the Italian fashion label in the near future. The company already said it will soon launch the Imprint face and body crayons as well as Color Matter nail polishes that offer a customizable experience unlike the typical “instructions for use”.
