As a huge fan of of the most important meal of the day, breakfast doesn’t have to be routine and blasé. Here are a few off-the-menu delicious, comforting, and tasty ideas to live up the most important meal of the day. Give the cereals and avocado toast a break, and unleash your inner foodie- and you don’t even have to fly to Tuscany and sign up for a food course (although I highly recommend it for a later time).
Some of my personal favorites:

Lobster Benedict (For 2)

Cook a 1 pound lobster in a large pot of boiling water until pink (10 minutes). Let cool slightly under cold running water, slit the tail shell vertically using kitchen shears, then remove the meat from the tail and claws. Crack the claws to remove the meat. Hint: You can also use cooked chopped lobster tail meat about as a shortcut.

Poach 2-4 eggs for about 3 minutes in an egg poacher, or in skillet of simmering water with a tablespoon of vinegar added. Use a slotted spoon to remove the eggs and pat dry with a paper towel.

Toast 2 whole wheat biscuits or english muffins, place the halves on a plate, and carefully arrange the lobster meat on top. Then layer the beautiful poached eggs at the end, sprinkle with chopped parsley, fresh pepper or paprika if you like. Voila.  Melted butter, cheese, hollandaise, and crisp bacon, are completely delicious and optional.

Soft Fluffy Creamy Scramble Eggs  (For 2). Siberian Osetra Caviar and Black Truffle Necessary 

in a bowl, whisk or fork about 6 eggs and add a splash of crème fraîche. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a skillet pan.

Slow cook the eggs over low heat, gradually turning, stirring, and mixing with a spatula. Add a teaspoon of butter and cheese. Stir in the caviar or black truffle. Here’s a great place to test out truffles, and see here  to buy the Siberian osetra caviar.

Turn off the heat once it reaches a soft, fluffy, juicy consistency. Stir in chives or minced parsley. Plate and garnish with kumquat berries.

Gambas Tart Flambe

For the crisp shell: flatten bread with a rolling pin. Using a cutter or mason jar lid, cut out a circle from each slice.  Brush both sides of circles with butter.  Press into miniature muffin cups. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.Melt about a teaspoon of butter over low heat in a large pan and  add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute
