- Dominique Ansel Bakery –189 Spring Street
There is no need for a campfire this seaon because Dominique Ansel Bakery is serving a summer staple a little cooler. Customers are lining up to get a taste of chef Dominque Ansel’s new creation: the Frozen S’more. From the apple wood smoked tree branch to the warm custard center and the chocolate wafer chips in-between this treat is truly one of kind. Don’t forget to try one of the many types of Cronuts as Dominque Ansel created the delicious masterpiece that keeps a line out the door.
- MAGNUM Ice Cream Dipping Bar –138 Prince Street
If you missed the pop-up “Make My MAGNUM” experience with Kendall Jenner at Cannes this year, don’t fret, MAGNUM “dipping bars” are taking the world’s major cities by storm. With neighbors like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Balmain, the MAGNUM “dipping bar” and Art of MAGNUM mini museum was eagerly welcomed to the elite neighborhood with its drive to create the most fashionable dessert on a stick. From Himalayan salt to espresso sugar the MAGNUM “dipping bar” allows customers to create over 200,000 delectable desserts using only the richest and smoothest dark, milk, and white Belgian chocolate. Our favorite recipe is the “Double Caramel” ice cream bar with hazelnut, rose petals, gold flakes, and white chocolate drizzle. Go find your pleasure !
- Ladurée –398 W Broadway
If you’re looking for something sweet on the smaller sidem Ladurée is the perfect place to post up for an afternoon delight and a cup of tea. Founded in Paris, this petite pastry shop rolls out exquisite macaroons in 26 orginal flavors. Manque Jasmin (Mango with Jasmine), Petal de Rose (Rose Petal), and Pistache (Pistachio) are my absolute favorite guilty pleasures. Looking for an elegant hostess gift? The Ladurée box sets of 6 macaroons will never disappoint. Their outdoor garden is one of our favorite haute spots for tea, drinks, and brunch as well!
- Xocolatti –172 Prince St.
Xocolatti is the crème de la crème of truffles as each delicious treat is individually formed with unique textures and delectable flavor. A crowd favorite is Oprah’s Xocolatti Tower, which debuted on her list of “Favorite Things 2015”. The tower is made up of 30 mini chocolate squares designed with exquisite flavors ranging from mango paprika to rose almond. We recommend indulging in the “elemental COLLECTION” which includes 9 decadent truffles with flavors like raspberry, hazelnut, pista, marzipan, and gianduja.
- Georgetown Cupcake –111 Mercer St
From your television to downtown Mercer Street sisters Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne have created the perfect balance of creamy frosting and mouthwatering cake to form the ultimate cupcake. The bakers offer customers seasonal specials for the holidays and daily specials for the adventurous eater. Gluten free? Vegan? - Mo il Gelato –178 Mulberry St.
Prided on using natural, local, and seasonal ingredients, Mo il Gelato is a little piece of Italy in downton SoHo. With 100% naturally fresh recipes using vanilla beans from Tahiti and hazelnuts from Piedmont over 20 flavors burst with hints of sweetness and zest in every spoonful. Make sure to try both the Specali flavors such as Delirium (Chocolate Chip Cookie with Chocolate Fondue) or the Classici flavors such as Stracciatella (Milk and Dark Chocolate Chips). For an extra special treat indulge in a gelato panino, a scoop of rich gelato between two slices of toasted sweet bread. With only 5 locations worldwide, two in Italy and three in Manhattan, this gelato is worth every bite.
- Dessert Kitchen –192 Bleeker St.
The Dessert Kitchen takes the dessert course to a whole new level. Their extensive menu includes treats like fruit flavored kanteen, pudding, waffles, Taiwan style shaved ice, parfaits and scented tea flavored jelly. Our favorite is the Bubble Taco made up of a graham cracker wafer cone and filled with three mini scoops of ice cream and toppings. The modern and Asian inspired atmosphere compliments the rare and intriguingly delicious dessert masterpieces.
Going to get my dessert fix now, ttyl.
