Are you a fan of the iconic G-Wagon? But you also like going fast? Brabus has the ultimate machine for you – the Brabus Rocket P900. For more than four decades, Brabus has been building high-performance supercars based on Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The latest version is based on the Mercedes-AMG G63 and will be limited to just ten cars.
The performance stats of the Brabus Rocket P900 are staggering, particularly if you consider that it is based on the G-Wagon. A 4.5-liter V8 twin-turbo displacement engine with specially developed turbochargers generates 900 hp and a peak torque of 1,250 Nm. In combination with a nine-speed automatic transmission, the Rocket P900 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 280 km/h. The stainless-steel Brabus high-performance exhaust system complete with full-carbon tailpipe trims, actively controlled valves and integrated Rocket launch ambience light provides the right acoustics and looks while perfecting power delivery by reducing exhaust backpressure. Active sound management enables the driver to switch between an exceedingly throaty V8 sound in ‘Sport’ mode and a subtle whisper in ‘Coming Home’ mode at the touch of button.
No Brabus car would be complete without a bespoke, fully handcrafted interior design. The Rocket P900 has a two-tone leather concept that combines black with “Rocket Red” and is completed with a special Brabus “Seashell Diamond” quilting. Many interior elements of this special edition car have been finished with the “Heritage” brand pattern, which pays tribute to Brabus’ founding year – 1977. The cockpit is made up of over 206 individual elements including trim panels, handles, switches, speaker covers as well as air vents. A range of high-end carbon fiber elements such as the ergonomic Brabus Race paddle shifters, steering wheel, dashboard and center console trims as well as the door panels complement the Rocket P900’s one-of-a-kind flair in combination with stylish aluminum components including the pedals and door lock pins. Integrated into the center console, a Panerai Luminor design analogue watch underlines the pickup’s next-level look and feel.
