How To Crush It this Fall With Velvet

written by Global Glam October 28, 2016

Velvet has taken the fall trend by storm, if you haven’t noticed already. Here’s how to crush it this fall with velvet.

By Julie Queiruga

Allow us to explain what velvet is. Velvet is the structure of the fabric and usually, comes from the woven. it feels like cat ears. Velvet is probably older than you (unless that is you were born in the twelfth century). In the 1920’s, women were using velvet for their gowns and shawls.

Velvet clothes are a quick way to add some trend to your closet while also keeping you warm this season. As we know, Fall weather goes from hot to very cold instantly. What better way to warm up this season than with some of these hot numbers:

Another way to jazz up your shoe game is to go for some velvet shoes. Just be careful to not wear them in the rain, we learn from our mistakes.

If velvet is not your thing and you want to ease into it, this is a perfect way to do it rather than purchase pieces you might not end up wearing. And for those who love velvet and can’t live without it, this is just another way to go crazy.

For as long as velvet has been around, it is safe to say that it will not be going anywhere and not some trend that is here today and gone tomorrow. So go ahead and crush it with these styles.
